About the role:

We are looking for a Product Marketing Lead who is driven and excited to define the product marketing function at Unit21. As a one-person team, you will have the opportunity to carve your path and make a lasting impression.

The ideal candidate has previously developed a unique GTM narrative, launched compelling products, managed pricing & packaging, and developed stellar GTM collateral and content. You are the ultimate left and right-brained thinker. You are analytical but also excel at storytelling and writing. You are a relationship-builder deeply invested in delivering a stellar customer experience through close partnership with sales, success, and product.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to accelerate their career, flex into multiple cross-functional projects, and make a lasting impact at an early-stage company. This role will report to the Head of Content and Product Marketing.

What you will be doing:

  • Product & Marketing Collaboration: Work in tandem with the product team to ensure marketing strategies align with product features and benefits. Champion a cohesive narrative between product development and market presence.

  • Customer Adoption & Engagement: Utilize market analysis and competitive intelligence to drive and scale the adoption of our products. Implement strategies that enhance our go-to-market initiatives by aligning them with customer needs and pain points.

  • Sales Enablement: Develop and enable sales with effective messaging, collateral, and tooling to succinctly communicate product value and enhancements, including presentations, one-pagers, and case studies.

  • GTM Launch Plans: Architect and execute strategic go-to-market launch plans that encompass pricing, packaging, and promotional strategies to maximize product uptake.

  • Content Creation: Generate compelling content across multiple platforms, including video, website, webinars, datasheets, and blogs to educate the market and articulate the product's value proposition.

  • Product Communication: Own the creation of the product update newsletter, informing stakeholders of 'What's New' and detailed product updates.

  • Competitive Intelligence: Systematically gather and analyze competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions and positioning.

  • Messaging & Positioning: Develop crisp and compelling messaging and positioning that reflects our product's unique value propositions and market differentiators.

  • Messaging Testing: To optimize impact, continuously test and refine product messaging based on market feedback and performance metrics.

  • Webinar Management: Manage product-focused webinars, including hosting and moderating, to engage with our audience and provide insightful product knowledge.

  • Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Engagement teams to synchronize efforts and ensure a unified approach to product promotion.

What we’re looking for:

  • 5-7 years of product marketing experience at a B2B SaaS company

  • Marketing a technical product is a plus but not required

  • Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional workstreams

  • An ability to work at both the strategic and operational levels, consistently meeting or exceeding planned objectives.

  • A strong track record of spearheading launches and marketing campaigns that drive significant business results

  • Strong ability to synthesize insights and leverage data to influence key decisions

  • Scrappy and resourceful operator. You can unblock yourself to achieve your goals and think creatively about your problem-solving approach.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You love to write and can communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

We expect all team members to be motivated to be amazing in their roles and ultimately move the Unit21 mission forward.

  • The standard base pay range for this role is $135,000 - 150.,000 Annually. This base pay range does not include variable compensation including potential commissions, bonuses or other financial or equity incentives.
