About The Team

The Fraud team is looking for a Strategy & Operations Manager to reduce the cost of fraud and build solutions to protect our platform from would-be fraudsters. You’ll be specifically focused on creating our strategy and executing against goals around new and growing fraud types. You'll grow familiar with our three audiences — Consumers, Dashers and Merchants, and become a point person for understanding user behavior that suggests fraud. You'll investigate cases of fraud and design and implement solutions to reduce fraud at scale. Most importantly, you'll help promote the delicate balance between providing our users the best experience possible while keeping bad actors at bay.

You're Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will…

Establish and refine DoorDash's strategic approach to fraud – work on the policy, operations, engineering, and analytics needed to protect DoorDash’s audiences from bad actorsAnalyze fraud vectors across DoorDash's platform – complete end-to-end analysis that allows us to better identify the bad actors on our platform and improve the experience of good usersConceptualize, test, and implement policies that stop bad actors while protecting good usersInfluence and engage across the company - partner with the product, engineering, machine learning and analytics teams to establish goals and build the systems that catch and prevent abuseImprove through experimentation – use data-driven decision-making to run tests in order to reduce fraud while accelerating growth

We're Excited About You Because…

6+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, business development, operations, technology, investment banking, analytics or related experienceExperience leading large projects, hitting goals, and succeeding in a team environmentProblem solving and analytical skills, including proficiency in SQL and expertise in Excel

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, New Jersey, New York and Washington.
